The West Hollywood Aquatic Center offers year-round swimming, fitness, recreation, and water-safety programs for children, adults, families, and competitive athletes. Located on the rooftop of the Aquatic and Recreation Center, the facility features a 10-lane, 25-yard competition pool and a graduated-depth recreation pool overlooking Downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills. Aquatic programs include adult lap swimming, open recreation swim, private instruction, parent-and-child classes, preschool and youth swim lessons, stroke-development programs, and water-fitness classes such as Water X, Aqua Circuit, and Poolates. Lessons follow the Starfish Swimming curriculum and emphasize water comfort, safety, functional swimming skills, stroke development, endurance, and confidence. Seasonal youth opportunities include Splash Camp, which combines water games, team challenges, and swimming instruction, as well as a Junior Lifeguard program focused on water safety, first aid, CPR, rescue skills, leadership, fitness, and teamwork. The center also hosts the year-round BLAST competitive swim team for swimmers ages 6–18, providing professional coaching and development for athletes ranging from beginners to advanced competitors.
